Durapro Gym Mat: Excellent Performance & Good Look

Between EPDM and natural rubber, I chose EPDM for its better performance and properties. I decided to buy the Durapro Gym mat (10mm) because it is:
(I) made of EPDM with a high density of 1000 kg/m3;
(2) microbial treated to prevent the growth of mold;
(3) odorless (after a few days of ventilation); and
(4) able to support the weight of my Force USA G12 and protect my gym floor from the impact force of barbell with weight plates

I laid (DIY) the Durapro gym mat on my gym about a month ago. I am happy training on it, with its comfortable feeling and pleasant look.

I highly recommend the Durapro Gym Mat (10mm)

I was worried it wasnt going to be thick enough but after installing, i realised it is more than adequate. The only issue I have is the strong rubber smell which I presume will be the same problem with all mats

I consulted Mr. Chen about which floor mat to upgrade to. He has been patient and provided his professional view. The mat quality is good, and I can feel it when I run on it. Really nice and tough gym flooring. The tiles interlock and the seams disappear. Totally non-slip. Easy to wipe down.

However, despite them being advertised as low odour, they still smell like rubber. 2 weeks setup already and it’s still lingering. Hope it goes away soon.
