Description

The Align R8-Pro Pilates Reformer in Black is the latest entry-level light commercial Reformer, launched in late 2023.

The name "R8" stands for "Retro 8-Wheel," as this Reformer is designed to replicate many features of Joseph Pilates' original classic Reformers. These include the carriage and foot bar distances, carriage dimensions, spring bar positions, foot bar height, and overall Reformer height. While the R8-Pro replaces traditional leather straps with height-adjustable rope risers and Silent Ropes, its pulley position remains true to the classic design.

Despite its traditional influences, the R8-Pro is a modern Reformer with four foot bar height settings, including a flat position, along with multiple rapid adjustment systems for ease of use. This Reformer comes with four springs but has the unique ability to accommodate a fifth spring if desired. It also features a patented Rapid Change spring bar, offering three positions for seamless carriage adjustments. The Pro Rope adjusters, positioned conveniently behind the shoulder rests, allow for quick and effortless rope modifications.

As the first Reformer in the "light commercial" category, the R8-Pro is ideal for home studios as well as commercial setups with light usage. However, please note that this model does not support a Half Cadillac Tower. It has a maximum user weight limit of 120 kg. Despite its compact design, the R8-Pro does not compromise on quality or performance. It can be free-standing with the optional Jump Board and is highly portable, equipped with wheels for easy repositioning—making it an excellent choice for multi-purpose studios. When standing upright, it reaches a height of 238 cm from floor to top.
