Description

The Powertec LeverGym is one of the most functional and sort after single-station home gym systems ever created. The heavy-duty isolateral lever arms can safely hold up to 227kg (500lb) combined. The detachable FID utility bench can be removed to perform a multitude of additional exercises. The list of exercises is almost endless, especially with the wide variety of attachments that can be mounted to the utility bench. The new and improved version of the LeverGym comes with angled stainless-steel weight horns, added resistance band pegs, extra press arm settings, removable storage horns, and improved padding material. The use of lever arms creates the smoothest motion in any weight training machine and is the closest thing to free weights. The lever arms have built-in safety stops that allow users to train to exhaustion without the use of a spotter. When finished, you simply set the weight down. This security provides the opportunity to achieve maximum muscle growth in the comfort of your own home. The arms on the LeverGym equate to 9kg lifted (4.5kg for each arm). The LeverGym arms are designed with a 20% weight reduction of the weight lifted. For a 100kg load on the lever arms, you would subtract 20% for the lever arm weight distribution (which equals 80kg) and then add the weight of the arms (9kg). Therefore, 100kg of weight would equate to a total of 89kg of perceived weight lifted. The cable pulley has a 1:1 ratio.

The FID utility bench can be detached from the LeverGym to access additional exercises such as squats, calf, dip, shrug, and deadlift with the press arms. Users can also make use of the low pulley to perform rows and bicep curls. The FID utility bench is designed to provide additional stability and allows users to adjust the seating area and backrest pads at different settings with ease thanks to its unique ball-bearing driven carriage. The bench has 9 horizontal and 9 vertical positions, including decline, flat, and 7 incline positions. Please refer to the "Powertec FID Utility Bench" for more information. Solid home gym!

Very solid home gym that lets you do many core strength training exercises like bench press and squats safely without a spotter.

I've been using this for several months now, and really like it. It's pretty compact, and I'm able to do all the strength training exercises I want with it. I looked into several options when considering this purchase, and figured this would be easy and safe to use when working out alone.

Solid home gym!

Very solid home gym that lets you do many core strength training exercises like bench press and squats safely without a spotter.

I looked into other options like Racks, Smith Machines, Functional Trainers and Gyms with Weight Stacks. This proved to be the most economical route (a rack alone would have been cheaper, but then adding in a bench and bars, it would have worked out to more). I have now been using this for a couple of months, and love using it. It's easy to use, and with some creativity, you can come up with any number of exercises for great variety in routines...

this is the best piece of home workout equimpment I have ever owned

I had my eyes on a smith machine or cage. Powertec had a few of these. I wanted the Rollersmith in particular. I had never seen the Levergym pictured and never gave it a thought. Then one day, I was looked at youtube videos of people working out on Powertec home gyms and came across Lee Priest and Rob Riches both working out on the Levergym. So I purchased the Levergym on a whim. I've gotta tell you, this is the best piece of home workout equimpment I have ever owned.

It's sturdy. Very Sturdy. It can handle heavy loads...500lbs on the levers for exercises like Squats, Bench, Shoulder Press, etc... The pulley can handle up to 300 lbs. Although I can't lift that much, It can handle everything I've put it through. I bought a tricep rope, multi-exercise bar, and a curl bar for the pulleys
