    I bought 9 mats to

I bought 9 mats to fit under a punch bag at home, I've used them for a couple of days now and they are fine for what I need.

They are EVA foam (the same foam that's used to pad boxing gloves) as such they don't feel as dense /heavy/ grippy as the more expensive rubber floor mats used at most Muay Thai gyms.

The benefits are that they are light and very easy to cut to shape in order to fit them into an awkward corner of the room.

The drawbacks are that they don't have a rubbery feel and your hands/feet tend not to grip as they do on a yoga mat.
